Fujitsu has an opportunity for an experienced Storage Engineer to join a strong and high performing team to assist with the development, design and creation of storage solutions. The role will also have a strong focus on performing analysis, system enhancements and other administration tasks and will act as an internal consultant providing direction on a variety of operational and procedural issues. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a collaborative team environment with minimal supervision with some on call requirements.

Core Skills:

·        3+ years relevant SAN and NAS experience including design, implementation and support

·        Experience and working knowledge of NetApp devices (FAS2552, FAS8040, AFF700s)

·        Experience with fiber channel switching and zoning (e.g. Brocade, Cisco MDS)

·        Ability to troubleshoot IO performance and monitor disk usage

·        Working knowledge of data protection and DR site replication

·        Some understanding of data security and encryption concepts

·        Experience in VMare 5.5+, Netbackup 7+ and Veritas Enterprise Vault is highly desirable
