Are you a Service Management professional with a technical bent? Can you work with a large customer to ensure that the services Fujitsu delivers are in line with expectations or even exceeds them, while at the same time bearing in mind contractual compliance and costs? We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to guide the delivery of IT services to a large organisation based in Christchurch. You will focus on four key themes - delivering to all service obligations, developing effective relationships and teams, innovating and improving productivity, and growing and transforming the business.

Using the ITIL aligned Fujitsu framework for the delivery of Services, you will thrive in a complex and changing environment that will require a mix of well thought proactive and responsive action. 

In this instance, we are particularly interested in hearing from individuals who have a technical background or a strong technical understanding, (enterprise-level with infrastructure, cloud and applications), and who may have moved, or are considering moving, to an SDM role.

So, to get the most out of this key role in Fujitsu’s relationship with the customer, we would envisage you having:

  • Proven skills in Service Delivery Management to a large enterprise organisation (experience with government customers would be great)
  • Demonstrable ability in leading and directing individuals or teams in an IT outsourcing environment
  • Technical skills or strong understanding of Cloud, infrastructure and application technologies
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, and if not the experience, the propensity to understand client operations, contract adherence, monitoring and reporting, financial management of projects and services, bid preparation, offer definition, value propositions and risk management
